Joseph Eickmeyer, DO
Family Medicine
A lifelong resident of St. Louis, Dr. Joseph Eickmeyer graduated from Lindbergh High School in 1980. He earned a B.S. Degree in Biology from St. Louis University in 1984 and his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1989. He completed his internship and Family Practice residency at Normandy Osteopathic Hospitals (now known as St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital). In 1992 he began his practice at Cedar Hill Family Medicine.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Eickmeyer is heavily involved in teaching future physicians. He has served as the Program Director of the Family Practice Residency at St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital since 1995. He has also served as the Chairman of the Family Practice Department and Vice Chief of Staff at the hospital.
Dr. Eickmeyer has a special interest in children with Attention Deficit Disorder. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and playing golf and vacationing in new countries.
